AGM Appointments

George Rennie of Durham City GC has been elected to serve on the DCGU Executive Committee at the recent AGM. George is seen here receiving his Executive badge and tie from new President, Gerry Johnson.

David McNeill, of Billingham GC, having been co-opted on to the Committee during 2023, was also formally elected to the Committee.

Ian A. Shaw, of Eaglescliffe GC, was re-elected to the Executive following the mandatory end of his 4 year term.

Jim Holmes (Chester-le-Street GC) retired from the Executive Committee at the end of his 4-year term and was elected as a Vice-President of the Union.

President Gerry Johnson announced the appointment of Mike Greener as the Captain of the County Men’s team. Mike will be supported by two new Vice-Captains, Mark Walker (Bishop Auckland GC) and Jonathan Ward (Durham City GC).
