The Durham County Golf Union (DCGU), as the men’s amateur golf governing body in County Durham, focuses on administering county championships, team competitions, and coaching programs. Affiliated with England Golf, the DCGU manages course measurements and slope ratings for its 43 member clubs and serves as the local authority on the R&A Rules of Golf and Handicapping.

Please be advised that the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals of the Inter-County Foursomes initially scheduled for Sunday 14th April at Seaham GC have had to be re-arranged. The matches scheduled for Hartlepool GC on Saturday 13th April are not affected and will go ahead as planned. Like many others,
