SAFEGUARDING
The Durham County Golf Union is committed ensuring all players participate the game in a safe environment and were awarded SafeGolf accreditation in December 2020 by England Golf, the sport's National Governing Body.
Our safeguarding Policies and Procedures are for the benefit of all participants, employees and volunteers of the County and are intended to promote the objectives and principles set out within them.
The person with principal responsibility at the County is the County Welfare Officer who is Neil Burke and in addition any concerns can also be raised with Jonathan Ward (County Secretary).
