Durham County Golf Union now Incorporated

As proposed and approved at the Durham County Golf Union Annual General Meeting on 21 January 2026, the Union was formally incorporated on 29 April 2026 and has been operating as Durham County Golf Union Ltd since 1 May 2026.

This change marks a significant step in strengthening the organisation's structure and ensuring it is well positioned for the future. Importantly, day-to-day operations, competitions, and support for affiliated clubs will continue as normal, with no disruption to services or ongoing activities.

We remain committed to working closely with all member clubs across the County and to maintaining the strong relationships that underpin the game at every level. The transition to a limited company structure is intended to enhance governance, improve continuity, and support the long-term development of golf within Durham.
