Since 2016, entries for most Championships and Individual County events can be made online via this website in a bid to make it quicker and easier for the County's golfers.
The entrants list can be viewed for each event so golfers can check that their entry has been received.
Entry fees are not transferrable between players once they have been paid and the draw for the event entered has been made.
For those who would still like to enter by post, a form can be downloaded from the event page for each competition, which can be returned with a cheque. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, please contact the County Secretary who will give you the bank details and reference to help marry up entry and payment.
Tee time preferences for County Championship R1, 3rd Division Competition and 4th Division Competition can be made when given the opportunity to add instructions with a Paypal payment or by emailing the County Secretary. All other events have a seeded draw therefore no preferences are accepted.
Club Team events can only be made by the club and not by individuals wishing to represent their club without knowledge and permission of the club.
Entries for County Members Competitions should currently be made via the entry form in the County Handbook to ensure a first come first served policy is kept.
Below is a list of the events that this year will take online entries. All other DCGU team events (Club entry) and County Members Salver competitions (entry form in handbook) are still entered in the same way as in previous years.

Please note that players are only permitted to enter one of: County Strokeplay, 2nd Division, 3rd Division and 4th Division events regardless of whether their handicap changes and falls within the conditions of two events. After one event has been played in, a player becomes ineligible for any others that they may be eligible for by handicap.
The DCGU are using Paypal to collect the online entry payments which comes at no extra cost to the entrant. Entrants will not need a Paypal account to enter online and can pay easily with a debit card.
Please note that payments are required at the same time as entering online so have your card details handy. Competition entries made without completing the payment page are likely to be removed.
Once entered, entry fees for DCGU events will not be refunded unless a player withdraws before the draw has been made for that event or in exceptional circumstances which must be submitted in writing to the County Secretary for approval.
If an event is abandoned or postponed due to reasons outside of the DCGU's control, no entry fee will be refunded if the event is rescheduled for a comparable date.
In the event of a golfer being balloted out of an event that he has entered or find that he is ineligible by age or handicap cone the closing date, the DCGU will issue a refund via the same method of payment as made by the entrant.
All information that an entrant enters into the entry page is confidential and will NOT be passed on to a third party. Email addresses will only be used by the DCGU to communicate directly with golfers about the event they have entered or other DCGU related topics which may be of interest.
Please note that players need their 10 digit England Golf CDH Handicap ID to be able to enter online. If you have not got yours please ask your club secretary or register with England Golf's members scheme to see it online.
In County Championships and Divisional Competitions, players shall walk at all times unless permission is granted in advance by the County Executive Committee. Requests should be made to the County Secretary and be accompanied by a medical certificate or proof of need. If granted, buggies must be booked with the host club by the competitor. The DCGU has no responsibility to ensure that sufficient buggies are available to any competitor who needs to use one. Competitors who own their own buggy must seek permission from the host club in advance of the event and provide proof of adequate insurance should it be requested.
Buggies are permitted in social competitions such as County Members Salvers without permission, however the above conditions relating to booking buggies, owned buggies and insurance still apply.
Trophies presented at Team and Individual championships and Competitions remain the property of the DCGU and should be returned to the County Secretary one month before being presented at the following seasons event. Winners may have trophies engraved at their own expense if they wish but this is usually done by the DCGU in advance of the following years event.
Whilst in the possession of the winner, the trophy is only covered under the DCGU's insurance if it is stored securely and its where about's informed to the the County Secretary. It is the responsibility of the holder to ensure it is returned in the condition that it was presented.
Glassware presented at County events are for the winners to keep, to commemorate their achievement.
Prize vouchers may be redeemed at any Club Pro shop but must be done so and redeemed by the retailer no later than 6 months from the date of issue. Vouchers returned to the Treasurer for reimbursement after 6 months may not be honored.
