Edward G. Bunting - DCGU Past President

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Edward Bunting our longest serving Past President passed away at the weekend at the age of 84. Edward joined the County Executive in 1974 and in the years since has been Chairman of Coaching, County Captain and County President. Add these honours to many more at his beloved Seaton Carew GC, the Teeside & District Union, Northern Counties Golf Union as well as his membership of the R&A and it is easy to understand why he will be remembered with both great fondness and much respect for all he has given the game of Golf.
