Durham County Mixed Foursomes Championship.
To be held courtesy of Whickham Golf Club.
Saturday 10th September 2011, 1st & 2nd Rounds.
Sunday 11th September 2011 3rd & 4th Rounds.
Sunday 18th September Semi-Finals & Final.
The starting times for the 2nd & 4th Rounds are approximate only, and will be at the discretion of the County Executive.
Team members may be changed during the Competition, but having played in one team, no player can then, after being eliminated,
play for another. All players MUST register with the County Secretary in the Clubhouse on arrival each day.
Winning Competitors are to report the result of their match as soon after completion as possible.
Should any match finish all square, it will be decided by sudden death, commencing at the first hole.
All matches are to be started by the Executive Member on duty on the 1st Tee.
If any Competitors arrives at his starting point, ready to play within five minutes after their starting time, in the absence of circumstances that warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as provided in Rule 33 – 7, the penalty for failure to be on time is a two stroke penalty. Penalty for lateness beyond five minutes is disqualification.
Competitors must play with a golf ball and Driver that conforms to the approved list as issued by the R & A.
Would all Competitors please make themselves aware of any Dress Rule appertaining to the Host Club.
